Pony trekking in the Highlands of Scotland
We are a family run buisness on an estate at Shiel bridge- Glenshiel
Glenshiel is situated at the head of Loch duich about 16 miles before the Isle of skye , some 60 miles north of Fort wiliam.
The place is surounded by some great Hills including the Five Sisters.
The Rides are personal and low - key. There are 5-6 Ponies to hire. We offer 1-2hr treks , 3-5hr trails , 1-2 day trails which take you along the shores of Loch Duich , across the hills , through Ratagan forrest with stunning scenery and some great wild life.
The Ponies are Highlands homebred by the Family for the last 150 years. These Ponies are known for their good nature , hardiness the ideal Pony for riding - trekking in this area.
